Bactericidal Performance
Testing has been conducted to confirm that the OTEK wash process, combined with appropriate chemistry in cold water, is effective as a bactericide. Results demonstrate the ability to eliminate bacteria in line with recognised European standard NF EN 13727:2015.
All test results confirm that the OTEK process achieves effective disinfection and bacterial reduction under controlled conditions.

Virucidal Performance
Additional testing has confirmed that the OTEK wash process provides effective virucidal activity when used with the correct chemistry in cold water conditions.
The system has been tested against viruses in accordance with recognised standard NF EN 14476 + A2:2019, demonstrating its ability to inactivate viruses and support infection control requirements.

Coronavirus Testing
Specific testing has been conducted on Human Coronavirus 229E to confirm virucidal activity of the OTEK system at low temperatures (approximately 10°C) when used with appropriate chemistry.
Results confirm that the OTEK laundry process is effective in inactivating the virus under tested conditions in accordance with recognised international standards.
